Your refusal to stop is not merely a crowded schedule. It is a hidden demand to remain useful, needed, and in control. You turn your workbench into a fortress, expecting finished tasks to protect you. They cannot save you. The psalm names God as salvation, rock, and fortress, not your output.

In Christ, God does not meet this restless demand with another assignment. The incarnate Son entered weakness, and at the cross he bore the judgment your performance cannot cancel. Risen, he intercedes for you now. His salvation rests outside your achievement, and his rock does not shift when your hands are empty. You may stop without pretending the burdens are gone.
