For the season when goodness is hoped for but not yet seen.

“Still confident” sounds costly when your body keeps returning no answer. Can you say you will see Yahweh’s goodness in the land of the living when goodness has not taken the shape you hoped for?

Waiting can expose a quieter unbelief: you begin treating the next treatment, result, or pregnancy announcement as the evidence that Yahweh is good. That is a false refuge. A desired outcome becomes your proof, and the present becomes disqualified. Yet the psalm joins confidence to waiting, not to possession.

Christ does not shame your thin courage. The risen Jesus secures your hope beyond the outcome you await, and his intercession keeps you before the Father while you wait. His resurrection gives confidence without promising conception, and his presence gives strength for this living land today. Courage while waiting is confidence placed in Christ, not certainty borrowed from a result. Wait for Yahweh; bring him your fear, and let your heart take courage.
