For the season when prayer has been offered but its acceptable time remains unseen.
But as for me, my prayer is to you, Yahweh, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.
When you pray to Yahweh for an acceptable time, what do you do with the time that still appears unacceptable? You have brought the request, but you cannot yet point to the answer. That gap exposes your demand for visible confirmation. You may call it perseverance while quietly treating an outcome as your refuge.
Psalm 69:13 does not present prayer as a technique for forcing the calendar. The petitioner turns toward Yahweh and asks to be answered according to the truth of salvation, within the abundance of loving kindness. Your condition is delayed sight, not divine permission to invent certainty. An unseen answer does not make your prayer an unseen offering.
God’s grace in Christ meets you here. At the cross, Jesus secured salvation rather than merely improving your circumstances. Risen, he intercedes for those who come through him. Therefore you may bring the same petition without pretending to know its date. The acceptable time remains in God’s hands, while loving kindness gives you a real welcome now. Place your petition beneath that unopened seal, and will you keep praying to Yahweh instead of making control your refuge?
An unseen answer does not make your prayer an unseen offering.
Yahweh, receive my prayer through Christ, steady me in your loving kindness, and keep me from seeking refuge in control. Amen.
